In Partnership with

The Polo Club TNVR Project

In Partnership with Give Hope Cat Rescue, Inc

Welcome! This page is for residents and staff at The Polo Club. Report cat sightings and feeding schedules, learn how our humane TNVR works, and see how you can help. If you spot a cat in or near one of our traps, please don’t touch the trap—just text us a photo and location. Thank you for your teamwork!

  • Project hotline: (561) 855-0050 (text OK for photo + location)

  • All reports are confidential and used only for TNVR planning

  • Timeline: traps → spay/neuter & vaccines → ear-tip → ~12h recovery → return

Cats and Humans

What is TNVR?

Trap–Neuter–Vaccinate–Return is the humane, proven method to stabilize cat populations and reduce nuisance behaviors.

Trap

We place humane traps in known feeding areas and monitor them closely.

Neuter/Spay

Veterinarians surgically sterilize to prevent future litters.

Vaccinate

Rabies and core vaccines improve health and safety for all.

Return

Healthy feral cats return to their exact location post-recovery.

The TNVR Process - Pre & Post Care

Before Surgery

  • Traps placed in coordinated feeding areas

  • Quick transport to veterinary clinic once trapped

  • Temperature-controlled holding before surgery

  • If you feed cats, please withhold food after 10:00 PM the night before

During Surgery

  • Spay/neuter performed under anesthesia

  • Rabies + core vaccines; health check

  • Ear-tip done under anesthesia for identification

After Surgery

  • ~12 hours recovery in temperature-controlled area

  • Kittens/friendly cats may enter foster/adoption

  • Healthy ferals returned to original location

If You See Our Traps

Do

  • Leave traps undisturbed; we check frequently

  • Text a photo + exact location to (561) 855-0050

  • Keep children and pets away from traps

  • Call us if a trapped cat appears distressed

Do not

  • Open, move, or release a trap

  • Feed near traps unless coordinated with our team

  • Put hands inside/near the trap or attempt to pet the cat

  • Cover/uncover traps unless instructed by our team

  • Relocate cats from one area to another

Ways You Can Help

Report Sightings

  • Share locations, times, and photos so we can plan efficiently.

Foster/Volunteer

  • We’re all trappers; fosters are critical for kittens and friendly adults. Indicate interest in the form or text us.

After Surgery

  • About $100 per TNVR; more for special medical cases. Your support is tax-deductible.
