HOW TO HELP

Give Hope Cat Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless, and disadvantaged cats. We open our arms to all cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. Good homes are found for every cat that we take in - we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization. We have rescued thousands of cats.

WE ALWAYS NEED VOLUNTEERS. Please consider how you would like to help (volunteers need to be at least 13 years of age). Fill out this page & the attached Volunteer Application and Liability Release Form. Then either place in the designated box at any one of our adoption centers or email both pages to contact@givehopecatrescue.org. Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you so you can get started helping our furry friends.

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS. We provide community service hours in exchange for volunteer work. Wether you're a Middle or High School Student or court ordered community service hours; we are here to help you help us!

Available Volunteer Positions

🐾 Foster Homes - Care for rescued cats in your home. Love them, comfort them, take care of their needs – help them get ready for our adoption centers where they will find their adoptive home. If you have other pets, it is best if you have a separate room for your foster cat(s). Give Hope Cat Rescue takes care of all the medical expenses and of finding the cats great homes – you provide the good food, the litter and the love! This is SO rewarding! 🐾 Kitty Transportation - Transport the cats - from vet to vet, from vet to adoption center, between adoption centers, etc. This is on an as-needed basis - when a kitty needs to be chauffeured, we would ask if you can help.

🐾 Fundraising - Our fundraising committee focuses on ways we can raise money to help even more special kitties. Some of these include planning and organizing fundraising activities, creating and writing a periodic newsletter, researching and preparing grant requests, selling special items, writing or talking to people and businesses that might be able to donate funds to Give Hope Cat Rescue, etc.

🐾 Administrative Assistance - If you have a computer, we need help with data entry and other computer-based work. We also really need assistance with many areas of organizing, monitoring, researching, and so forth. This can be done from your home.
